The intro is quite like creed. The song had a lot of energy, i thought vocal's again were good especaily in the chorus they had a lot of emotion

I like the intimate feeling at the start of the track with the guitar and drums kicking in. The song then opens sounding like a lot of tunes that it bows its head to. The vocal is really good. Intense and full of sincerity I feel. I like the bass on this track too All up its something to be proud of. A good quality recording that takes you on an intense emotional journey.

Very impressive!!!! I really like the tone on the bass guitar. The electric guitar reminds me a bit of early Smashing Pumpkins circa Gish. Love the dynamic chorus. Song could be 'tightened up' a bit. There were a couple of places where the timing seemed a bit off. Thanks for letting me know about this.

I like the suspense with the intro and the alternating heavy/ligher parts. Great bass. Loads of passion in the vocals. Love that darkness in the atmosphere. Great stuff!

Here's a watermelon don't say I "never feed you". You mentioned Creed but I think this sounds more like Soundgarden or maybe vintage Pearl Jam! It's delicious. Like the phasing at the end.

i don't think the scream is necessary...nice intro tho'...vocals are just a little flat in the chorus but it's good 'never'...i like the lyrics so far, it's pretty catchy...i think a harmony would do well in the chorus...i'm at the drum solo part and you go into the chorus again but i'd like it better if you went right to the bridge since you go back into the chorus right after that...then maybe you could double up the chorus at the end for a bigger finish...nice job
cheers, d
'wasting time' & 'the bottom of a bottle' are new...one is fully produced and the other i'm just trying to arrange so production aside please

This song if fin great, sounds like tool a bit, or maybe a perfect circle

That bass guitar in the beginning INDEED is reminisient of Tool. Then you find out it's actually a guitar. The REAL bass guitar is playing a kick-rectum bass line. Actually, the whole song kinda sounds like Tool, and I think the style of the music lacks a bit of originality. But that's a personal bias: I like weird rock music. I listen to the Residents.
To get back on track, the recording displays excellent performance. Especially in the drums. They never miss a beat despite the complex fills.

Intro was awesome. The bass is killer in this track. I love the vocal changes. I must agree with Lemieux that guitar is hidden. Wouldn't be bad to have a single guitar in the left ear, but later through in a second on the right or middle right and give this some more dimension. Pretty cool though guys.

okay,
first off, i like the song as a whole, and i realize that the mix is not really there yet, but since all i can say that is usefully critical about it centres around details regarding the mix.
if you mixed it different the minor weaknesses in the performance would be very hard to notice.
tonally i really like the sound of the bass, guitar, vocals, and kick drum.
the rest of the kit sound like pizza boxes because they need compression, reverb and eq desparately. oh yeah and that gating on the hi-hats sound kinda bad at the beginning, cutting the sustain of the cymbal off.
and where is the snare!? it keeps dissappearing! that snare should be slapping my face just like the kick is doing for a truly effective sound.
the live stuff is streaming now and i realize you've lost a bit of ground in the power of this stuff recording in the studio.
the guitar is mixed too low, and probably could be doubled black sabbath style, one in each speaker to really kick some hoop!
okay, i will apologize to you if my way of saying things has got you thinking i don't like it, it's just about production, and is not about what is obviously a good song.
please stop by and get critical with me some time if you feel inclined.
as for the vox, they sound a little to forward but that would be better with a touch more guitar in the mix.

I agree the vocals need to be a little hotter in the mix in some areas. The mix as a whole is in need of work, levels are all over the place. However, the song is a good tune and worthy of the effort to make it better. Vocal diction and pitch are good but there are a couple of places where both get sloppy. Be aware of proper vocal technique – and never be satisfied with a substandard performance. Your art is the sum expression of your being, always strive for perfection.

this is pretty raw, maybe just gigging it more would help polish some of it. A lot of energy, but when the diction goes sloppy, it loses some power, crappy diction is a dangerous tool, it's hard to use right.
I like the drumming a lot, though I feel like the part @ 3.45 was probably recorded improperly, everybody lost sync a little bit there.
the worst part about all this is the recording, it's better than bed, but worse than better.

i love how the gain rings out before the vocals come back in, then builds back up for the chorus part. personally i'd prefere some more volume on the drums but over all it was an awsome tune!
